The important event in my life
Good morning, everyone! It's a great pleasure to share my own story with you.
What's the most important event in your life?Different people may have different answers. And I have gotten my answer these days----that is coming to President University where my life has great changes,in other words, the university life has brought many "first times" to me----the new experience. It was a unique experience that I really enjoyed, but it also meant much more for me and my future.
When I was at high school,I was told that the university life was wonderful, full of freedom and challenges,so I was really looking forward to my own life in university, dreaming of the beautiful campus, interesting courses and all kinds of activities.
On that day, I was very happy to meet all the people, see all the bright classrooms and very comfortable dorms. Everything was new and exciting. The teachers were welcoming, and the students were nervous like me but also very friendly. We all got to know each other. I made some good friends.
There's no doubt that as a freshman I couldn't adapt myself to the new life here due to the differences between university life and high school life,in particular the one dependent like me.Once I was at a boarding school, however, living in the university is not the same as before, you know,it's the first time for me to be so far away from home.I felt homesick and even a little afraid, and I phoned mummy and daddy almost every day. What's more,at home mummy and daddy do everything for me,because I am a child forever in their eyes,so they always protect me from being hurt. But now I have to learn to be independent and do everything by myself.
As time goes by,I have met new friends who make me feel at ease on campus.Gradually,I have managed to adjust myself to the life here, furthermore,I've learnt a lot from university life.Being far away from home,I get to realize how deeply I love my family and how deeply they love me.Even though they're not around me here in HeNan,I was able to take good care of myself;I can wash my clothes by my own hands;I can put away my things by myself;I can go shopping with my roommates.
Now I am a member of the President University, where I've gotten a lot of opportunities to train myself and broaden my mind, such as working out the function plan and how to work with my classmates, and all of these are meaningful. When I make every effort to work on one thing, finally I make it,and the feeling is really good. Now I understand the old saying''No pain,no gain.""If you think you can,you can!"
In conclusion, coming to President University let me know who I am and how to really grow up and be independent.Everyone can do the best!So my dear friends, let's cherish our opportunities to study here and enjoy our school life.Thank you!

Population pollution in Jakarta
With the development of economy and scientific technological progress. As a developing country,Indonesia is also making progress.
Jakarta is the capital and political and cultural center of Indonesia,Population 14,200,000, and continues to rise. The city's transportation infrastructure construction is very backward. So it has become one of the most congested cities in the world.
A recent survey by the Indonesian Demographic Institute shows that after the Eid holidays, Jakarta will usher in 68,500 foreign population, an increase of 34% over last year. The arrival of foreign workers, on the one hand to the city's development has provided sufficient cheap labor, on the other hand also to this already crowded city brought a series of problems.
At present,Jakarta is one of the world's most densely populated cities. The influx of migrants every year exacerbates local traffic congestion, environmental pollution, inadequate resources and poverty. Jakarta simply can not absorb a large number of foreign population. Although manufacturing, finance and services are more intensive in Jakarta, these modern industries require skilled technicians, while the majority of the foreign population are under-educated and non-technical. As a result, most of the migrant labor is concentrated in the informal employment sector, and many people simply can not find a job.
Jakarta's problems highlight the embarrassment that Indonesia's urbanization is facing. Indonesia's urbanization is characterized by relatively concentrated urban population, mainly in a few large cities, which led to uneven distribution of resources and regional development, which is all the root causes of the problem. Jakarta focused on the best resources in Indonesia, the country's priority development policies and the influx of a large number of foreign capital to stimulate the city's rapid economic development and create a large number of jobs. However, many parts of Indonesia's infrastructure is backward, the economy is underdeveloped, job opportunities, local surplus labor can only be exported.
I think that Indonesia should slow down the pace of urbanization. The government must re-adjust the urban development system, the rational allocation of resources to medium-sized cities, the development of local infrastructure to stimulate local economic development, rather than over-reliance on foreign direct investment.
At present, the Indonesian government has launched a blueprint for economic construction, plans to invest 200 billion US dollars, and enterprises and foreign investors, the five islands in Indonesia for the development of different characteristics of the development of investment plans. Earlier this year, the government also provided each village with a development fund of 1 billion to 1.4 billion rupiah (US $ 1.17 million rupiah) and plans to develop agricultural projects in rural areas to promote local employment.
